"October 24, 2009, Orion Academy, celebrated their 10th Anniversary with a huge GALA! and silent auction wine tasting at the Marriott Hotel in Walnut Creek. We had Juke Joint for our musical entertainment and couldn't have been happier! They arrived on time, set up and started on time and were very responsive to any special requests we had. They turned what started as just a sedate silent auction and hors d'oeuvres evening into a real party! My only regret is that we didn't have enough room set up for all the people that wanted to dance. Thank you so much!"

From Bob Schleeter, College of Marin Music Instructor after Juke Joint’s 11/17/09 performance:
Roger and Cayce -
We were lucky enough to have Juke Joint as special guests the other night in our college level "Rock, Pop and Jazz" class. They really capture the spirit and sound of classic artists like Muddy Waters, Louis Jordan, Wilson Pickett and Al Green. We heard fiery vocals and blues harp, Memphis-style horns, soaring guitar solos and solid, punchy rhythms, all of it passionate and fun. The students also got a music history lesson because these musicians understand - and bring to life - the early influences and 20th century lineage of American blues, soul and rock traditions. Thanks for a great evening Juke Joint!!

From Nora Wagner, Events Coordinator for the Blackhawk Auto Museum on June 21, 2009 (Father's Day "Cruisin" event), "The band is FANTASTIC!!"

From Mary T. after the Jukes performed at her husband's birthday party in Oakland, May 16, 2009:
Roger, Thank you and your cohorts: absolutely fabulous! Everyone raved about the music and kept asking how we found you. If you ever need a reference, feel free to give my name! And thank you for the CD -- we'll enjoy it until we think of a good excuse to have you here again!
The caterer will hopefully be a good referer for you, too!
Best wishes,
Mary

We will absolutely keep you in mind! And if I hear of anyone needing a great band for an event, I will be recommending you!
